In 2020, life and its ups and downs took me to the “Kanton Wallis”, in Switzerland, to a cow farm to make raclette. For 3 months, I had the honour of seeing the sun rise every day and accompanying it as it set, and in between looking after 4 different herds of cows.
After that, it was impossible for me to go back to where I was living (Turin, at the time) and I tried to cohabit with animals for what they teach me about life, bring me patience and teach me simplicity.
So I often sneak into goat or cattle pastures, climb to the top of snow-covered mountains to share my life with these quadrupeds.
After 15 years of vegetarianism, I decided that I would eat what I kill, convinced that it was less absurd to accompany the animal to a gentle and dignified end and make sausages out of it than to eat cashew nuts imported from India as an aperitif.
